We are excited to announce the addition of menus to CityVoter. We have partnered with Locu, an awesome Cambridge and San Francisco-based startup to to give visitors instant access to your menus – the best advertisement there is!

You can access menus from nominee pages for restaurants and bars by clicking on the “menu” link underneath the nominee name. Menus are available on web as well as mobile. Check out some example menus and find something new to try!

About Locu

Locu is an online tool that’s both super easy to use and FREE. You can add and edit menus as well as easily publish them to your website, facebook page and mobile site and all of their partner sites. Now, any changes you make will automatically show up on CityVoter too.

This year marks the first KSL Local Salt Lake County AList contest. It saw great success throughout the 10 week competition with almost 31,500 votes! The Hair Salon and Wedding Cakes categories garnered the most votes and the American Bistro category was a very close race.

Louisville A-List received over 21,500 votes this year. There were 96 winners crowned out of more than 2,300 nominees so a big congratulations is in order for all of the winners!

The WISN Spring Fever and King5 Best of Northwest Escapes are fun contests with spring/summertime attractions and activities. Get in the mood for summer with On the Water categories such as Boat Tours and Water Ski Club as well as a Local Excursions section. The Spring Fever contest received almost 6,000 votes during the three week voting period. The Best of Northwest Escapes was a success with over 42,500 votes during the four week contest.

Even as 2011 was winding down, things were still in full swing at CityVoter with 3 big contests! Voting closed just before the New Year for Cleveland’s FOX 8 HOT LIST, WMBF’s Best of the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach and the A-List on WISN.com in Milwaukee. Read the rest of this entry »
